About our Health & Safety procedures
Managing risk is at the forefront of all work activities undertaken at Bancroft. A dedicated specialist Health & Safety Team led by a Company Board Director and implemented by a qualified and experienced team of Health & Safety Advisors oversee our work activities across all projects.
The Health & Safety Team provide expert advice to our site management teams, specialist subcontractors and operatives working on our projects. Each specialist discipline team carry out weekly safety inspections and monthly site management audits and put in place action plans for where improvements can be made and maintained.
Regular audits are also carried out on our specialist subcontractors ensuring they meet not only the Bancroft standards but also our clients and current legislation standards.
The success can be measured by the fact that Bancroft has achieved and maintained accreditation to OHSAS 18001:2007 since 2010. In addition, we are also very proud to have successfully achieved the RoSPA President’s Award in 2017 for 12 consecutive Gold Awards.
